About
Audrey is a dynamic dancer and performer with a distinctive approach to movement and storytelling. Beginning her journey in Hip-Hop, House, as well as Urban Dance and many others at the age of 14, she has since expanded her expertise to contemporary, modern dance, as well as physical theatre and acting, blending these influences into a style uniquely her own.
As a dancer, she moved from Taipei to New York in 2018 to be emerged in the underground street-dance scene, studying with members of Dance Fusion NYC ( Sekou Heru ) , Elite Force NYC, Lite-Feet Nation ( Chrybaby Cozie ), and Crazy Natives ( Jimmy "Cricket" Colter ). In 2019, she transitioned her practices & research in contemporary dance, acting, as well as modern dance at The New School, where she was mentored by choreographers such as Rebecca Stenn, Vicky Shick, Neil Greenberg, and Mariana Valencia.
She have received additional training across Europe, UK, Tokyo, Taiwan, and the US, including B12, Gallim Dance, Trisha Brown Dance, The Place London, NSCD, Dart Dance Company ( NDT & Crystal Pite Rep ), Spring Board Dance ( Pina Bausch Rep ), UDK Berlin and Venice Biennale Danza.
As a performer, Audrey strives to share compelling stories inspired by her multicultural background and the ever-evolving intersection of visual arts, technology, nature, and humanity. Through her work, she seeks to foster connections and evoke emotion, emphasizing a deeply human approach to storytelling through dance, performance, and interactive media while centering her research into diversity, healing, and balance.
